Seller: Buyer marked as paid, but funds not received
Feb 06, 2026
If a buyer has marked the order as “Paid” but you haven’t received the money yet — don’t worry. This issue is usually temporary and can be resolved quickly by following the right steps.
⚠️ Important: Never release cryptocurrency until you’ve confirmed that the payment has actually arrived in your account.
Common reasons for delay
- The buyer marked paid before actually sending the transfer.
- The payment is still being processed by the bank or payment service.
- The buyer used incorrect account details or the wrong payment method.
- You may be checking the wrong account, or the payment is still in pending status (including delays due to system maintenance or weekends/holidays).
What to do
Step 1. Verify your account
- Check your bank, e-wallet, or payment app for any incoming transactions.
- Make sure you are checking the same payment method listed in the offer.
Step 2. Check proof of payment from the buyer
- If the buyer attached a payment confirmation, review it carefully.
- Confirm that the funds were sent to the correct account.
Step 3. Wait for processing time
- Some payments may take longer to process, especially between different banks or outside business hours.
- Allow a few hours for wallet transfers or up to one business day for slower payment methods.
Step 4. Keep communication within the platform
- Avoid switching to external messengers.
- Keeping all messages on the platform ensures escrow protection and allows the support team to assist if needed.
Step 5. Open a dispute if necessary
If the buyer's timer expires and you still haven’t received the payment open a dispute. Do the same if the payment proof looks suspicious or you need to provide additional proof from your side.
The support team will analyze all evidence and make a final decision — either releasing the cryptocurrency to the buyer or returning it to you. You can communicate with the support team directly from the dispute window or through the Support page.
Tips to prevent future issues
- Double-check your payment details before creating or accepting offers.
- Prefer instant or real-time payment methods when possible.
- Never release crypto before confirming receipt of funds.
- Keep all communication and actions within the platform.
✅ Remember: You are protected by the escrow system. As long as all actions stay within the platform, your funds remain secure.
