How to change your username

Your username helps other users recognize you on the P2P platform, especially on the Exchange page where traders can view available offers. By default, the platform generates a username automatically during registration, but you can change it to a custom one — for example, the same username you use on other platforms.

This guide explains how to update your username and what requirements apply.

Step 1. Go to your Ellyx profile

You can start changing your username in one of two ways:

• Click the pencil icon next to your current username in the platform interface
• Or open the **Profile details page and click the same pencil icon there

Step 2. Enter a new username

Type the username you want to use.

Your username must:

• Be at least 5 characters long
• Contain letters, numbers, and the underscore symbol “_”

⚠️ Important: Do not use harmful, offensive, or inappropriate words in your username. Violating these rules may result in account restrictions or suspension.

Step 3. Save your username

Click the Confirm button to apply the changes.

If the username is already taken, you will see a notification and need to choose another one.

Once saved successfully, your new username will become visible to other users on the platform.
